Real Friends

Friends are people who are worthy to be treasure because they are the ones who help you whenever you are in trouble; they are the ones who lend their shoulders whenever you are about to cry or whenever you are about to give up because you don’t already have the courage to face tomorrow; they are the ones whom you can laugh as long and as much as you want. They are the ones whom you are not bothered to show your own flaws in life because you are very assured that they will not judge you as other people will. 

They who will laugh at you whenever you stumble on the street but later on will lend you their hand to help you stand again. They whom you will not want to lose because you treasured them very much. You treat them as siblings and they treat you that way as well. They who can even cross the ocean or climb mountains whenever you call them because distance can never be a hindrance for them. They will always come even if they have an errand to attend to. That’s what friendship is some says it is just like a tread because it is very fragile but it will become stronger when it will be woven. 

Real Friends are like Diamonds very precious yet rare to find. But for me real friends aren’t found but they are being earned. Yes they are earned just like trust because friends are not just like treasure that when you meet people you can tell that they are already real friends. Before they become your real friends you must first earn your trust to each other because if you already have trust on each other then you both can open up problems or you both can already share memories or even secrets. 

At first it is very difficult to earn real friend because you need to be careful whom you will share your past or secrets because some friends can be your greatest enemy usually these friends are the ones who hate you and talks about you at your back you will never know until they already leak all your secrets. But real friends will never do that because real friends will also get hurt whenever you are hurt it’s like that your connected with each other with a special bound or something that only the two or all your real friends can understand. That’s why having real friends is a very good thing, you can find happiness and can feel safe every time.

Fathers Who Are They

Fathers are the ones considered as the foundation of our homes together with our mothers which are the light of our homes they come hand in hand to raise their children to mold them so that when the time comes they can live on their own. That’s how family works it’s just like a bird that will never fly if one of its wings is missing. 

But today I will just stick in defining fathers. Fathers are very responsible when it comes for the sake of their children they will work hard for them to feed their families they can even work over time just to make sure that their families will not suffer from hunger. Some says that fathers are insensitive beings because they set many rules for their children to follow even if their children will be having difficulties in following those rules. They will still insist those rules regardless of what their children feels. But mind you people I think fathers do that act because they are just being protective to their children, they want their children study well that’s why they set curfew hours because if they don’t do that their children will still be wandering in the streets late at night, if they don’t tell their children to go home after their classes there is a big tendency that those children will hang out with their buddies and tend to do unnecessary things, if fathers don’t tell their children not to choose their friends then there will come a time that you will hang out with some gangster or drug addicts maybe. If they don’t do what they usually do then we can be a responsible and diligent person. 

Yes it’s true that fathers are very annoying sometimes but you are just annoyed with them because you only see those things that they are doing as bad but you don’t realize that the things that they are doing that really annoys you are the things that you will be thankful to in the future. They may have a strong and impenetrable shell but inside that shell is still a human that has a heart able to love and care for those who are important to him. So basically it is given that fathers are strict to their children because that is the only way they can shout to the world that they love their children and no one can lay a finger on them. 

That is why instead of looking their actions negatively just ignore you annoyance towards them and just be thankful because you are lucky to have a father like them because not all of us are given a father that treat as more important than their lives some fathers are just not ready to be fathers that’s why they tend to neglect their own children. So people! having a father that greatly loves you and annoys you is not a bad thing but it just telling you that you are lucky to have them because some fathers don’t even mind if your life will difficult or not. To all the Fathers who really love and care for their children I SALUTE ALL OF YOU! You are our heroes. 

Dreams and Dream Catchers

Dreams according to scientists are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. Do you agree? I’m very much agreeing because during our sleep there will just be the time when you start dreaming without knowing that you are actually are dreaming. In my own observation whenever I’m upset I tend to dream happy things or having the feeling of being happy in my dreams I laugh loudly and do things which I actually don’t do when I’m asleep like riding a motorcycle when in real life I don’t know how to ride a motorcycle. Whenever I’m happy I tend to dream things that makes me cry or those sad moments in my life are being flash back, is that normal? My dreams contradict my real feelings? 

Have you ever experienced dreaming that you are a super hero? Me? I've experienced it countless of times already some say that it is due to my childishness that I dream things that are very fictitious. Some say because I do watch a lot of super fiction movies. For me I don’t know and I don’t care because what is important to me is that I dream because according to the Movie “Warm Bodies” dreaming is making us alive so having a dream night prove you that you are still alive because those who died don’t dream already besides those who died don’t do anything already that for sure.

Do you have dream catchers? What are dream catchers? According to Merriam Webster dream catchers are circular framed net with a hole in the center that is used by some American Indian peoples to help block bad dreams and catch good ones. Do you believed on those? Well for me I don’t because basing on what I've told earlier my dreams are based on the counterpart of my feelings and no such thing can catch anyone’s dream. 

Man or Jerk

Man being a man, acting manly, being sporty, having many girls and having a deep voice. Standard of being a man is there such thing? When you failed some of those standards then you cannot be called as man? Damn those who say such thing. Being a man is not how manly you act walk or talk, how sporty you can be or how deep your voice is its on how you handled things with pride, having the willingness to show who you really are and having the courage to fight for what is right for me that’s being a man. And with regards to what they say that having many girls makes you a real man for me it just make you a big jerk a very big jerk! Some are even being bullied because they are effeminate wherein they are those having or showing characteristics regarded as typical of a woman because some narrow minded people thinks that when a guy is effeminate they are already gays or whatever they are called. But mind you people gays are guys who wanted guys in life and effeminate people are those who are girly in nature who knows that their behaviors are just caused by genes or whatever and not because they also want guys as their partner in life. There are even some manly and act arrogantly and boasting that they are really man but when they had their girlfriend pregnant they will just evaporate and avoid their responsibility my question now is does that make you a real man or a real jerk? 

I don’t hate gays in particular but I love them because sometimes they are more manly than we straight are because some there are some instance that they can stand like giving their seat to the elderly or to the ladies who needed seats on buses or trains while some straight guys don’t mind if there are elderly or ladies that in need of seats on buses or trains. This is just purely based on my opinions and based on my observation it will just depend on you if you will accept it because it’s true and you do these things or reject it because you don’t belong to those narrow-discreditable minded people.

Kagabi habang nasa plaza kami ng kaibigan kong si jelliemae sa may foodtripan may lumapit samin na dalawang bata na gusgusin at halatang salat sa yaman humihingi sila ng kaunting barya .

bata: kuya ate palimos po pangkain lang namin.

jelliemae: o eto tig 10 pesos kayo.

Habang tinititigan ko ang dalawang bata naalala ko ung project ng mga kasection ko na gumawa ng video documentary tungkol sa mga batang kalye at sila nga yung mga nasa documentaryo napaisip ako hanggang ngayon pala ganun parin ang buhay nila may trabaho ang tatay nila kaso walang pakialam sa kanila kaya para may panlaman tiyan ang magkapatid palagi sila sa plaza upang mamalimos minsan pa nga dun na sila natutulog sa  park. Sana naman sa mga mabubuting tao na nakakabasa nito ay hindi titigil na tumulong sa mga kagaya nila na pinapabayaan ng mga magulang. Sabi nga ni Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado Y Realonda "ang kabataan ay pagasa ng bayan" malay natin pag nakapagaral ang mga batang ito ay magiging kapakipakinabang sila sa lipunan.

Shake Off

You should be thankful for what we can do for you

Despite the fact that you didn’t ask for any of those

We all deserve care coming from others

And you can never ever pass up
